Productive Time Delivery Board
Objectives
- To oversee and assure the delivery of strategies that will achieve benefits from Productive Time (the utilisation of front line resources) for the NHS
- To ensure that maximum contribution is provided to overall benefits from:
- service modernisation
- workforce modernisation realising the opportunities provided by the Agenda for Change and Consultant Contract frameworks
- ensuring that the service and workforce change opportunities are enabled by the introduction of new IT systems via NHS Connecting for Health
- reducing costs related to staff turnover, use of temporary staff and sickness
- maximising the national potential of local best practice and innovation through effective networking and knowledge management
- To monitor national aggregate progress across an agreed framework of performance indicators informing the NHS of benchmark status and improvement opportunities
Membership
The Board was scheduled to meet on four occasions in 2006.
