Nicola Smith, Co-National Director for Learning Disabilities

Nicola Smith is Co-National Director for Learning Disabilities, a position she shares with the National Director for Valuing People, Rob Greig.

Nicola works one day a week in her current role. She is also Co-Chair of the Government’s Learning Disability Taskforce, alongside Rob Greig.

Nicola’s past roles include being a trainer with the Powerful Trainers scheme. The scheme raises awareness amongst the population about learning disabilities. It also provides training to commercial businesses, schools and specialists such as social workers and police officers on disability awareness.

Nicola was educated at Notre Dame Convent, Lingfield and went on to study at Chichester College and Sussex Open College.
