NSPF working groups

  • Last modified date:

The National Strategic Partnership Forum has now established four working groups, to take forward its work and deliver on its Statement of Purpose. The members of these working groups are a mix of NSPF members and individuals from other key stakeholder groups.

These working groups are as follows:

1. Distinctive Added Value and Good Practice:

To define and demonstrate added value and good practice in relation to VCS involvement and partnership working - through a possible literature review among other means, and by developing a portfolio of examples of partnership working in practice

2. Review of Strategic Agreement:

To review the Strategic Agreement "Making Partnership Work for Patients, Carers and Service Users" in the light of recent developments in the context within which it is applied, not least the Home Office's Compact+ proposals

3. Influencing Regulation:

To influence regulation (of VCS organisations) within health and social care, as well as more widely, so that it both more fully recognises the value of the VCS and is streamlined to minimise the overall administrative burden on VCS providers

4. Common Understanding:

To develop a portfolio of products and strategies to improve common understanding between the public and voluntary sectors in health and social care, and improve the transparency of Government funding streams available to VCS organisations.
