In general the responses to this consultation were supportive of the proposals. Whilst a number of detailed comments were raised, none raised fundamental issues about the proposed staff transfer, and indeed a number of comments address issues that will not be covered by the Order. Arrangements are in place to follow up comments about field services and about the PHLS laboratory transfers to the NHS.
