The Committee on the Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE) reported on the impact of personally initiated X-ray computed tomography (CT) scanning for the health assessment of asymptomatic individuals. COMARE made nine recommendations. This consultation paper seeks comments from members of the public, interested parties and stakeholders on the recommendations made by the Committee.
