This document reports on the findings from the post-registration nursing careers consultation, which took place from November 2007 to February 2008. The consultation proposed aligning nurses' careers within five broad pathways. The report discusses the emerging themes from the findings; and outlines the next steps for the work.
Original consultation
As part of the work emerging from Modernising Nursing Careers the Chief Nursing Officer launched the consultation document Towards a Framework for Post Registration Nursing Careers.The Centre for Development of Health Policy and Practice were selected to host the consultation and to analyse responses (see link).
