This document presents the results of the Consultation on Draft Regulations that was put out for consultation in February 2005. It was the second consultation document distributed by the Department of Health on the introduction of Healthy Start scheme. The purpose was to share with stakeholders the draft regulations for the introductory phase of Healthy Start and to invite views on some specific questions. 

Phase 1 of Healthy Start began in Devon and Cornwall on 28^th November 2005, national roll out is planned for autumn 2006.  For more information visit the Healthy Start website at www.healthystart.nhs.uk (link below).
