Protecting the vulnerable: the Bournewood consultation - summary of responses

The original consultation sought views on the issues raised by, and consequent options for public policy arising from, the judgement of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), published on 5th October 2004, in the case of H.L. v. the United Kingdom (the 'Bournewood' judgement - so called because H.L's care and treatment took place in Bournewood Hospital).

The report sets out the main findings of that consultation.
