Question

Please provide:

1.  a list of requests which have been made under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 since 1 January 2005;

2.  full details of the disclosures which have been made.

Response

A list of requests received up to the date of this request is below.

We have begun to publish details of the most interesting disclosures on our Internet site and plan to extend this shortly so that the site will contain details of all disclosures. This being the case, we are entitled to withhold the information in the meantime, in accordance with the provisions in section 22 of the FOI Act. We aim to put our arrangements for routine publication of all releases in place by the end of March.

In this, the Department of Health bases its practice on the guidance placed by the Department for Constitutional Affairs on its web site.
