Question
I am writing to request that the Department release, under the Freedom of Information Act, the report and any supporting documents and materials arising from McKinsey's recent research into the senior management at the Department of Health.
Reply
McKinsey were employed by the Department of Health to support the Chief Executive/Permanent Secretary and Secretary of State in reviewing the Department of Health's top-level structure. McKinsey were not asked to produce a report and have not done so. The product of the review was a presentation with support from McKinsey, setting out the conclusions reached by the Chief Executive/Permanent Secretary and the Secretary of State.
