Essential Small Pharmacies Scheme (ESPS)

The ESPLPS scheme commenced on 1 April 2006. Background: expressions of interest from potential service providers were required to be submitted to PCTs by 31 October 2005. Service providers and PCTs were required to submit their proposals on form ESPLPS3 by 6 January 2006. PCTs have been notified, in writing, where approval has been given for a proposal for an ESPLPS pharmacy in their area.

ESPLPS Model Contract
The contract added to this site on 1 March 2006 has been revised. The revised version is attached below. A variation document which will be useful to PCTs who have already signed ESPLPS contracts is also attached. This variation document will bring these contracts into line with the revised version.
