Department of Health Ministers have carefully considered all the representations received during consultation and have decided the following topics should be added to NICE's work programme.

Adalimumab for polyarticular juvenile arthritis
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of adalimumab within its licensed indication for the treatment of polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Review of etanercept (TA35) will not be included
Prasugrel for acute coronary artery syndromes
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of prasugrel in combination with aspirin, within its licensed indication, for the treatment of acute coronary artery syndromes
Sorafenib for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma
To appraise the clinical and cost-effectiveness of sorafenib, within its licensed indication for the first line systemic treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma
Eltrombopag for refractory chronic idiopathic (immune) thrombocytopenic purpura
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of eltrombopag within its licensed indication for the treatment of refractory chronic idiopathic (immune) thrombocytopenic purpura
Romiplostim for refractory chronic idiopathic (immune) thrombocytopenic purpura
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of romiplostim within its licensed indication for the treatment of refractory chronic idiopathic (immune) thrombocytopenic purpura
Mifamurtide for osteosarcoma
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of mifamurtide within its licensed indications as an adjunct to multi-agent chemotherapy for the treatment of osteosarcoma
Rivaroxaban for the prevention of venous thromboembolism
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of rivaroxaban within its licensed indication for the prevention of venous thromboembolism after elective orthopaedic surgery of the lower limbs
Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate for hepatitis B
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate within its licensed indication for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B
Abatacept for juvenile idiopathic arthritis
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of abatacept within its licensed indication for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Temozolomide for advanced and metastatic melanoma
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of temozolomide within its licensed indication for advanced and metastatic melanoma
Dasatanib for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of dasatinib within its licensed indication for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia

Topotecan for small cell lung cancer
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of topotecan within its licensed indication for the second-line treatment of small cell lung cancer
Dasatinib and nilotinib for imatinib-resistant chronic myeloid leukaemia
To appraise the clinical and cost effectiveness of dasatinib and nilotinib within their licensed indications for imatinib-resistant chronic myeloid leukaemia
