The Department of Health works with the Blood Pressure Association and has provided funding for the annual National Blood Pressure Testing Week

Blood Pressure Testing Week is a key part of the BPA's campaign to raise public awareness of high blood pressure and to encourage everyone to know their own blood pressure numbers.

This year's Blood Pressure Testing Week is 13th to 17th September 2004. More information on the work of the Blood Pressure Association and about the testing week is available on the BPA website:
