This revised Manual for Cancer Services is an integral part of the NHS Cancer Plan and modernisation of cancer services. It supports quality assurance of cancer services and enables quality improvement.

The Manual for Cancer Services can be downloaded in a number of different forms:
- the Main Manual, which contains all the measures
or
- the individual mini-manuals which contain only the measures relevant to a particular tumour site.
