The National Service Framework chapter for arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death was published on 4 March 2005. The chapter included a commitment to make available supporting resources and models of care which service providers may use for local implementation.
The following documents have been developed by the expert group who advised on the drafting of the new chapter. They are intended to be templates for local services to draw upon and adapt to meet needs and resources in their area.
They constitute a resource to support implementation of the new chapter and are not regarded as requirements by the Department of Health.
