On this page you will find reports of recent Long-term (Neurological) Conditions NSF events and conferences and also information on forthcoming events which may be of interest to you.
A series of six regional events was delivered by the Department of Health to enable organisations to develop their understanding of the NSF quality requirements and provide opportunities for local partners to identify the next steps for implementation. The events were aimed at people working in Health, Social Care and the Voluntary and Community Sector who have a particular interest in implementing the Long Term Conditions NSF in their areas.
The Department of Health organised a national conference in London on 19 July 2005 to help support local implementation of the NSF for Long-term (Neurological) Conditions. The conference was aimed at people who have responsibility for delivering the NSF within the NHS and social care, and people who use services, their families and carers and representatives from the independent and voluntary and community sectors.
This aims to ensure that implementation of the quality requirements in the National Service Framework (NSF) for Long-Term Conditions is facilitated by the availability of the appropriate information for patients, families and carers, the general public and care professionals.
