Visits

  • P-CAMHS service in Oxford - a primary care-based service which takes referrals from all agencies including health visitors, schools and GPs.  It offers individual and family sessions and advises other professionals.  It is able to see people quickly, and has reduced the load on specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
  • Skelbrooke Ward (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) in Rotherham - a new  building providing modern, fit- for-purpose accommodation for people with mental health problems. The facilities enable services users to engage in physical activities and exercise, both indoors and outdoors; have private interviews away from their bedroom; and receive visitors in private. The facilities provide flexible space for those feeling most vulnerable, offering separate sitting rooms, bedrooms and a secure external space - an external garden, a safe space for reflection and recreation.
