A number of different models have been produced to accommodate the differing commissioning regimes that may apply to PCTs when contracting with NHSFTs.

Model agreements, with a guides for their use, are provided for use by PCTs and NHSFTs when contracting with other NHS bodies, local authorities and other public bodies.  These may replace existing Service Level Agreements and, for NHSFTs, reflect the change in relationship with other NHS bodies from NHS Contracts to legally binding arrangements.
