Building people management skills
Successful human resources management improves efficiency through a culture that supports and develops its staff, allowing the workforce to share in the organisation's objectives. This section explains how the NHS is building people management skills.
HR Capacity Unit
Human resources management is vital to the NHS. Research shows that patient mortality rates improve in acute hospitals where an HR director is on the Trust board. The HR Capacity Unit coordinates human resources activity in the NHS at a national level.
Leadership Centre
