Chief Executives, their executive and non-executive teams, in particular HR Directors, are encouraged to read this document and use it to develop and implement workforce scorecards in their organisations.
NHS workforce scorecards are designed through a process of assessing existing organisational strategies, testing the understanding of these strategies with stakeholders, creating a strategy map, and translating this map into activities that can be measured and reported upon.
A series of case studies are being produced by the pilot organisations to support dissemination of the Balanced Scorecard concept across the NHS. These will be published via this website as they are developed. The first case study is from Derby Hospitals Foundation Trust.
