Working together with health information : a partnership strategy for education, training and development

Working together with Information is a national strategy to help NHS staff to develop the knowledge, skills and expertise needed to make better use of information and information technology. It is the Education, Training and Development (ETD) strategy to support implementation of Information for Health in the NHS. It emphasises the importance of good information management for the benefit of parents/clients, thereby helping to provide the best possible care.

Working Together with Health Information is a national Education, Training and Development (ETD)1 strategy to support the implementation of Information for Health in the NHS. It provides policy level guidance about what needs to be done to help develop new skills and change the culture of information management and use in the NHS. It will be followed by specific information about implementation from the NHS Information Authority and other sources.
