Introduction
In order to address the violence and abuse of social care staff, the National Task Force on Violence carries out a number activities, as set out in this section.
Report and action plan
The National Action Plan aims to put the knowledge derived from research and consultation into practice.
Research overview
The current research on violence against social care staff. The Task Force commissioned research reviews and arranged a series of focus groups and seminars to draw out the main messages.
Employee checklist
The National Task Force on Violence has created the checklist to ensure social workers know their rights and obligations in preventing violent incidents.
Self audit tool
This section contains the National Task Force on Violence's self-audit tool, and information about it. The tool aims to help managers at all levels assess the extent to which their organisation has minimised the risk of violence against its social care staff.
