Terms and conditions

Tenderers should not include their own terms and conditions when submitting tenders. It is standard practice for the Department to either seek to reinstate their own or view the tender as non-compliant which could result in it being excluded. However, tenderers may wish to query any issues in the conditions that adversely affect their tender. Copies of the standard DH terms and conditions are available from the Procurement and Policy Advisory Unit (PPAU). Provided here is a guide to DH terms and conditions. If a Purchase Order has been placed under an existing DH contract, or under a framework contract, the supplier should have been issued with a copy of the specific Conditions for that Agreement. Otherwise, the Purchase Order is subject only to the DH standard 'Conditions of Supply for Purchase Orders', which are available for viewing below.
