Local Government Association
The Local Government Association (LGA) was formed on 1 April 1997 and represents the local authorities of England and Wales - a total of just under 500 authorities. These local authorities represent over 50 million people and spend around £65 billion pounds per annum.
The National Primary and Care Trust (NatPaCT)
The National Primary and Care Trust Development Programme (NatPaCT) was established following publication of Shifting the Balance of Power in the NHS to provide organisational development support to PCTs.

NHS Estates is an executive agency of the DH. IT provides expert advice, information and guidance on estates and facilities management issues to ministers, the DH and the NHS.

The National Pharmaceutical Association is the national body of Britain's community pharmacy owners. The site contains useful sources of information for LIFT project managers.
