This guidance sets out the design development process for a PFI scheme in the NHS as it moves through the stages of bidding, selection of preferred bidder and ultimate acceptance of the selected bidder's design.
Revisions to the Design Development Protocol for PFI schemes: draft for consultation

This updated, draft version responds to the 2006 changes in EU procurement policy which introduced the Competitive Dialogue procedure. It is being issued first as a consultation document. All comments are welcome; the consultation period comes to an end on 23 November 2007.
