The principal guidance relating to business case composition in health build schemes is still the Capital Investment Manual. Whilst this has not been updated since it was published in 1994, new guidance has been produced since and where this supersedes elements of CIM it is identified within this and the FBC section.
OGC has also produced guidance on business cases that relates to stages 1-3 of the Gateway review process.
Users should also refer to the strategy and procurement sections when writing a business case.
