Darent Valley Hospital: The PFI contract in action
This NAO report examined the value for money the Trust has received three years into the operation of the PFI hospital. The areas covered include the delivery and quality of facilities and services, the management of the contract and the benefits and risks of refinancing the PFI deal.
The refinancing of the Norfolk and Norwich PFI Hospital
This NAO report examined the value for money received by the Trust as a result of the refinancing of this pathfinder PFI deal two years into the operation of the new hospital. The refinancing gain arose from the better financing terms obtained by the PFI partner and from the extension of the contract period.
