Fairness in Primary Care (FPC) procurement: NHS primary medical care and related services

The Fairness in Primary Care procurement has been developed to deliver the commitment in the 2006 White Paper ‘Our Health, Our Care, Our Say’ to tackle inequalities in access to primary medical care services in the most under-doctored PCTs throughout England. The Fairness in Primary Care procurement is expected to provide patients with greater access and choice, including flexible opening hours, extended services and easier access to primary medical care services in their local area.
