AHPs shaping health care
Frontline AHPs are invited to attend a one-day conference examining their role in health care provision.
The Allied Health Professional's Role in Shaping Health Service event is due to take place in central London on 20 October.
Speakers lined up include intermediate care service manager Helen McCloughry, Health Professions Council president Professor Norma Brook and Unison national health officer Jon Richards.
Issues to be discussed include AHPs' contribution to improving quality of life, ensuring AHP input on clinical governance issues, AHPs' role in supporting patient access and the roll-out of Agenda for Change.
