Sharing dementia care practice
An inaugural conference Innovations in Dementia Care was recently held at the Winchester Guildhall.
This was the first conference to specialise in dementia care training and development.
A second conference will be held at the Hanover International Hotel in Warrington on 17 January.
Therapy and nurse specialists in the field of dementia care will speak about a range of practice related-topics and aim to share best practice.
Speakers will include Dr Jennie Powell, a lead speech and language therapist, University of Southampton physiotherapy lecturer Sara Demain and dementia nurse consultant Tracey Packer.
