Welcome to the first edition of the Chief Scientific Officer's Bulletin. As the first CSO Bulletin, we are publishing a bumper edition to cover many of the evolving issues facing healthcare science. We hope to keep future editions consider with links to further information wherever possible. We want this bulletin to address the whole scope of healthcare science at all levels and really welcome contributions on new innovations and techniques, new ways of working and interesting service news that has wider implications and that can be shared with the rest of the workforce. The bulletin will adapt to the readership's views and what scientists actually want to see - so we are dependent on your contributions and feedback We will endeavour to update healthcare scientists on major issues happening across the NHS and will tie these in with news from the workforce so that it is relevant to working life rather than simply theoretical.
