Online presentations
A series of online presentations on topics relevant to the new GMS contract and changes to PMS will be taking place through February and March. Questions can be submitted in advance to the presenters. The sessions are:
- 3 February - Quality and Outcomes Framework, Philip Leech, Department of Health principal medical officer for primary care
- 18 February - New Personal Medical Services contract - sustaining innovation, Richard Armstrong, Department of Health head of personal medical services
- 4 March - Using the contract to deliver the vision for primary care, Chris Town, NatPaCT nGMS chief executive lead
- 19 March - Nursing, Kate Billingham, Department of Health assistant chief nursing officer and Nicola Walsh, NatPaCT nurse advisor - primary care contracting
- 31 March - Contractual issues -Steve Rowlands, Department of Health section head.

Learning exchanges
Regional events are being run to provide information to directors, PEC members, managers and support staff on the new arrangements for primary care and associated contractual implications. In February the two-day events are taking place at the following locations:
- 2-3 February - Hanover International Hotel, Hinckley
- 4-5 February - The Imperial Hotel, Torquay
- 9-10 February - Le Meridien, Gatwick
