New regulations on public sector information

On 1 July 2005 new regulations on the re-use of public sector information come into effect.
The regulations apply to health service organisations. Chief Executives need to be aware of the regulations and how they relate to the re-use of health service information. To find out more about the regulations, read the letter from Carol Tullo, Director of the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI), which is leading on the implementation of the regulations.
The Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) extended the coverage of the Click-Use Licence from the 1st April 2006. The Click-Use online licensing system for the re-use of Crown and Parliamentary copyright information will now also cover information produced by Public Sector organisations such as local authorities, the NHS, police and fire services.
