Purchase and distribution of the British National Formularies for the National Health Service

With effect from April 2009, responsibility for the purchase and distribution of the British National Formularies for NHS organisations, transferred from the Department of Health to NHS Evidence.

Social services local inspection reports and joint reviews

Inspection reports on local council social services are available from the Care Quality Commission. Joint reviews with the Audit Commission (1996-2003) have been archived, on the National Archives website.
