There are a small number of Upholsterers employed in the NHS within the purview of the Ancillary Staffs Whitley Council who receive pay increases in line with the agreements reached in the British Furniture Trade Joint Industrial Council. An agreement has been reached on increases to their pay rates for the year 2000/2001.
