This advance letter details increased pay and allowances for dental public health staff including those appointed to Director of Public Health posts in Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), effective from 1st April 2003. These reflect the 3.225% pay award for 2003/04 and equate exactly to those for the equivalent medical and dental grades in other specialties. Employing authorities should give effect to the changes as soon as possible.
