This letter from the Director General of Research and Development to Chief Executives, Finance Directors and Human Resource Directors of all NHS Trusts including NHS Foundation Trusts and PCTs provides information about DH’s web-based data collection exercise to identify patient care monies used to fund staff time spent on research.
