Letter outlining a set of the indicators, along with a guidance booklet which explains each indicator in detail, and the rationale behind its collection. The indicators have been developed specifically to measure the quality of prison health services and to help achieve the objective of NHS-equivalent standards. A timetable for collection of evidence to support the indicators is suggested, with a detailed timescale given in the appendix.
