'Choosing your hospital' booklets are available from every primary care trust and at www.nhs.uk. Following the recent publication of the Healthcare Commission ratings most of these booklets are now out of date. This letter advises primary care trusts of options for updating and printing of their booklets. Trust chief executives have overall responsibility for their organisations ensuring that information is provided to patients when choosing their hospital.
