This letter provides guidance on recommended actions for Trusts to manage the demand of immunoglobulin and maintain supply of immunoglobulin products. These actions and the guidance have been developed by a working group of clinicians, pharmacists, nurses and commissioners. During the development process professional associations, clinician groups and patient groups were consulted and the information in this letter was agreed at a National consultation meeting on 4 June 2007.
