Letter from Professor Lindsey Davies, National Director of Pandemic Influenza Preparedness, outlining the launch on 28 November 2007 of the Catch It, Bin It, Kill It Camapign to raise awareness of the need for good respiratory and hand hygiene and to help combat viral transmission by encouraging people to follow the correct hygiene steps when coughing and sneezing. The campaign forms an important part of our pre-pandemic influenza preparedness planning.
