Letter from David Nicholson, NHS Chief Executive, raises awareness that the Office of Fair Trading has issued a Statement of Objection against 112 construction firms in England alleging that they engaged in tender manipulation activities. Some of the companies under investigation have carried out general building work in both the public and private sector, including hospitals
