The Secretary of State has announced that an additional £100 million recurrent revenue is to be made available from central funds to support the Choice scheme and the national revascularisation expansion strategy. This letter provides details about the distribution of this funding and about the related planning arrangements, following the agreement that development of revascularisation plans should be separated from the main SAFF process. Annex 1 sets out Strategic Health Authority shares of the total resource available. Annex 2 outlines the methodology used in arriving at these allocations.
