Arrangements being put in place following the Secretary of State for Health's announcement of a £12 million investment over 3 years to improve care for people coming to the end of their lives. This follows on from the commitment in the recent Command Paper 'Building on the Best' to take forward training programmes so that all adult patients nearing the end of life, regardless of their diagnosis, will have access to high quality palliative care.
