The National Capabilities Survey is a regular biennial survey which is being sent out to a wide range of responders, including police and fire services and local authorities, and of course to the NHS. This letter is addressed to NHS organisations including NHS Foundations Trusts and cleared by Monitor as being mandatory for all Foundation Trusts with A&E Departments.
