This letter reminds general practitioners that measurement of the choice and booking components of the Directed Enhanced Service (DES) for Choice and Booking begins shortly. The letter advises GPs that the measurement for Choose and Book starts from 1 September 2006 and gives an update on the development of a measurement of the choice component of the DES.
