It has been reported that, during installation, a number of 5 amp round pin single gang switched socket outlets manufactured by Caradon MK Electric Ltd were found to have a manufacturing fault. The switch had been fitted upside down, reversing the normal operating convention. Managers and staff are advised to test stocks and installations and, if necessary, to contact the manufacturer for replacement.
