Estates alerts
DH Estates and Facilities are committed to providing a safe environment and reducing risks to patients, staff and visitors in the NHS. Alerts are issued to the NHS on SABS (Safety Alert Broadcast System) to manage risks relating to non-medical equipment, engineering plant installed services and building fabric in the NHS.

Online reporting
An on-line reporting facility introduced in 2004 enables NHS organisations to file defects and failures reports on-line. Alternatively the form is available for download here.
