The Annex to this letter provides further guidance on implementation of the NHS Complaints Procedure in the family health services. The guidance has been complied in response to queries from HAs since the new complaints procedure began on 1 April 1996 and provides answers to the most commonly-asked questions. Also enclosed is the manual 'FHS Disciplinary Procedures - A Guide for Health Authorities' which explains the NHS (Service Committees & Tribunal) Amendment Regulations 1996 SI 703.
