This letter advises Health Authorities of a non-recurring cash-limit adjustment for 1997-98 in respect of the introduction of a salaried doctor scheme which allows Health Authorities to reimburse GP practices from GMS cash-limited funds some or all of the costs of employing salaried doctors. Full details of the scheme are set out in FHSL(97)46 which wasissued in parallel.
